This critical Sales position will be based in Korea and responsible to sell Training Data Services and Solutions to help our Korean customers building and optimizing the AI / LLM models.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Strong desire to grow in AI/LLM Data business in South Korea. To achieve Sales signing targets with the support of Appen’s advanced technologies and resources.
  • Analyze South Korea market to generate leads from targeted customers.
  • Capture opportunities and build sales pipeline/funnel for Korea market. Build up and maintain strong relationship with customers.
  • Develop & expand new & existing market / customers by selling Appen’s Service offerings (including LLM fine-tuning, ASR, TTS, OCR, Content Moderation, Platform services)
  • Be responsible for commercial NDA, contract, MSA, SOW negotiation till contract closure with relevant functions / legal supports.
  • Closely work with Marketing function to promote Appen’s Brand in Korean market.
  • Closely work with Appen Client Service team on solution proposals and enable the clients’algorithm development with Appen’s services.
  • Closely work with Appen Client Service Project managers on handling client escalations, billing collections etc., to achieve maximize client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • 3-5 years of Sales experiences with solid record
  • Have 1-2 years sales experiences in AI/LLM domain, familiar with AI/LLM industry customers.
  • Have 2-3 years experiences in South Korea local well-known companies
  • Have sales experiences in start-up company is an advantage
  • Ability to hold business meetings in English. Ability to speak Chinese is a plus.
  • Have strong startup spirit; result-driven and self-motivated
